The human race, to which we belong, has been living with dogs and training them for thousand of years...   It comes as no surprise that we have develop a very strong emotional bond together as for so many years  since homo sapiens, dogs have been our alarm security system, our ears and nose while hunting cooperatively  for food, our working companions, living companions and even our playing companions!

We have come to a point where dogs consider themeselves as members of our pack and we also consider  them as members of our family. And we love it!   One of the reasons we have been so succesfully living together is because our  two natures complete each other in harmony.

Ever since the dog  species separated from the wolf, various breeds have made their appearance. Among them the cocker spaniels which are descended from spaniels,  are one of the oldest breed of dogs.  Spaniels most likely originated from Spain and arrived in England probably during Caesar’s invasion (54-55 BC).
